Mark Gengan
Founder and President
Mark Gengan is Founder and President of Ark Human Capital. Mark is a seasoned human resources professional with over thirty years of experience in managing organizational change. He has helped organizations build their talent pipeline through innovative talent acquisition strategies and programs. Mark has conducted searches at all levels for nascent start-ups to diverse multinationals.
Mark established Ark Human Capital in 2019, fulfilling a lifelong ambition to manage his own business. Ark Human Capital operates with a focus in the Talent Acquisition space, sourcing and placing candidates primarily in the functional areas of manufacturing, sales, Finance, HR and IT. Recent search assignments have been in the HVAC, transportation manufacturing, home appliance and life sciences industries, and his firm’s capability cuts across these and many other industries. Mark focuses on the full cycle of search—from design and management of the search process and client/candidate management to sourcing, selection/assessment and offer process. Mark developed his firm to provide comprehensive recruitment solutions which result in a client’s access to a pool of skilled and experienced employees to meet its workforce needs.
Earlier in Mark’s career, he spent over thirty years in senior HR leadership roles at Otis Elevator Company, Carrier Corporation and the Beijer Ref Group, a world-leading wholesaler of cooling technology and HVAC. Whilst at Beijer Ref, Mark held joint responsibility for both Human Resources and Operations, gaining invaluable exposure to managing the profit and loss of his operation.
Mark has developed extensive talent networks and is committed to providing his clients with high quality candidates in a timely manner to exceed client expectations.
Robin Aaron Gengan
Talent Acquisition Manager
Robin Aaron Gengan is a seasoned Talent Acquisition professional. dedicated to bridging the gap between exceptional talent and leading organizations across Africa, Europe and the United States. With a robust career in human resources and recruitment, Robin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role.
Robin’s career began in London, UK, where he honed his skills as an HR Generalist with KPMG. This role provided him with a solid foundation in human resources management and a keen understanding of organizational dynamics. Following his tenure at KPMG, Robin joined Ark Human Capital, where he excelled as a Recruitment Lead for five years. At Ark Human Capital, he demonstrated his ability to drive recruitment strategies, build strong client relationships, and lead teams to success.
Drawing on his extensive experience and passion for people and business, Robin decided to focus his efforts in Talent Acquisition, he is dedicated to delivering tailored talent acquisition solutions that help organizations achieve their strategic goals while fostering career growth for talented professionals.
Robin holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Witwatersrand, where he developed a deep appreciation for the intersection of human behavior and business strategy. His commitment to staying abreast of international trends ensures that he remains at the cutting edge of recruitment practices and industry developments. Sharon Murray

Sharon has spent a large part of her career in events management, and later in the travel and Tourism Industries. She is the ultimate professional and an expert in the Industries she has worked in.
She understands people and has a knack of identifying talent.
She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Ark Human Capital and leads our administration side of the business.
Yugasen Naidoo
Associate- Information Technology Executive
Yugasen Naidoo has more than 30 years in the Information Technology industry in South Africa and a short stint in the UK. He has been in senior management positions for more than 20 years and is currently a Senior Consultant at Ark Human Capital.
During his varied career in the Information Technology industry, he has been a programmer, network engineer, database administrator, project manager, director and CEO.
Yugasen has deep experience of the UK and South African IT environment and market and he has run and delivered many large technology projects in the public and private sector. He also has experience in systems integration, particularly with government systems such as Treasury’s Central Supplier Database, DTI’s company register, Home Affairs national information system (HANIS) and eNatis.
Yugasen holds a B.Sc Computer Science from the University of Witwatersrand, an MCSE from the Microsoft Corporation, OCP (DBA 8I), IBM Certified Security Professional, Prince 2 Practitioner, TestRail Technical Specialist and Real Estate Principal.
Rajen Moodley
Associate - AI Business Solutions Executive
Rajan Moodley was the visionary CEO of Investonomics (Pty) Ltd, a company dedicated to leveraging technology to enhance business operations, with a particular focus on the implementation of automation and AI solutions. Under his leadership, Investonomics has become a leader in driving technological innovation and efficiency for businesses across various sectors.
In addition to his role at Investonomics, Rajan is deeply committed to supporting entrepreneurs. He actively raises funding for startups, with a special emphasis on purchase order funding and financing for solar projects. His efforts have empowered numerous entrepreneurs to bring their visions to life and contribute to sustainable development.
Rajan’s academic credentials are impressive, with numerous qualifications to his name. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from a prestigious German university, further solidifying his expertise in the field.
Beyond his professional achievements, Rajan is passionate about giving back to the community. He volunteers at children’s homes and is involved in various initiatives aimed at improving the lives of children. His dedication to social causes reflects his belief in creating a better future for the next generation.
An avid parkrunner, Rajan enjoys staying active and participating in community events. His commitment to health and well-being is evident in his regular participation in parkruns.
